Trump revoked Canada’s invitation to the "Council of Peace."

"Please accept this letter as formal notification that the ’Council of Peace’ is rescinding its invitation to Canada to join," Trump wrote.

He also described the body as "the most prestigious Council of Leaders that has ever existed."

The day before, an indirect dispute took place in Davos between Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Carney.

The U.S. President claimed that Canada exists "solely because of the United States."

Carney responded by stating, "Canada does not exist because of the USA. Canada thrives because we are Canadians."
