Consequences of the strikes on January 24: in the capital, over 1600 high-rise buildings still remain without heating
On the morning of Sunday, January 25, in Kyiv, 1,676 high-rise buildings remain without heating. Restoration work is ongoing, and some consumers have already been provided with heat.
This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko on his Telegram channel here. According to him, since last evening, communal services, together with energy workers, have restored the heat supply to more than 1,600 buildings.
"Since last evening, communal workers and energy specialists have restored the heat supply to over 1,600 buildings. Work continues to bring heat back to the homes of Kyiv residents," – the mayor noted.
The city head reminded that due to the Russian shelling of the capital on January 24, nearly 6,000 buildings were left without heating. Many of them had already been reconnected or were in the process of heat restoration after the attacks on January 9 and 20.
