Generals under trial: NABU has completed the investigation into the embezzlement of 246 million on the "Dzvin" system for the AFU

NABU and SAPO have granted access to materials in the case of embezzlement of 246 million UAH during the creation of the automated system for the Operational Management Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine «DZVIN».

The suspects include a former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Lieutenant General), a former Chief of the Signal Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Major General), a former Head of the Automation Development Department of the General Staff (Colonel), and the director of a private company — the main contractor.

According to the investigation, in 2016, the Ministry of Defence signed a contract with a company that had no experience in software development. Over four years, the technical specifications were changed 13 times, which led to an increase in the cost of the work by nearly 300 million UAH.
