"Guilt not proven": HACC acquits former official of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Orlov in a $200,000 bribery case

Former official of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Volodymyr Orlov acquitted in $200,000 bribery case.

The court ruled that the SAPO failed to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. The SAPO disagrees with this decision and is preparing an appeal.

As a reminder, according to NABU information, in May 2024, the official demanded $200,000 for facilitating the allocation of 19 hectares of forest to a company for recreational purposes.
