"Keeping the enemy on edge": Syrskyi spoke about the successful tactics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south and east

Ukrainian defenders continue to firmly hold important positions in the south and east, despite the enemy’s intense attempts to seize the initiative.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on his  Telegram channel.

Situation at the fronts

The Commander-in-Chief worked at command posts in the Zaporizhzhya and Dnipro regions, where, together with commanders of the Airborne Assault Forces and assault units, he assessed the situation on the line of contact.

He emphasized that the enemy is acting aggressively, but the Defence Forces of Ukraine are responding decisively and effectively.

"Our task is to keep the Russian occupier in constant tension, inflict losses on them, and prevent them from advancing. The strategy we have chosen is yielding results," Syrskyi noted.

Support and logistics

During the meeting, urgent needs of the units were also discussed, including equipment repair and prompt evacuation of the wounded. According to the Commander-in-Chief, organizing troop management under conditions of intense combat requires the highest level of coordination.

"We openly discussed problematic issues that affect the fulfillment of tasks. I gave corresponding instructions to address the needs of our fighters," he added.
