A fine of 250 thousand for smuggling worth 66 million: a court in Lviv region delivered a verdict in the case of mass importation of Apple equipment

Court verdict for illegal importation of digital equipment into the customs territory of Ukraine worth over 66 million UAH, fine.

The verdict of the Sokal District Court of Lviv Region in case №52024000000000566 regarding the illegal importation into the customs territory of Ukraine through the Uhryniv-Dolhobychuv checkpoint of Lviv Customs of expensive digital equipment (mobile phones, tablets, laptops, headphones, all-in-one computers, watches of various brands) with a total value of over 66 million hryvnias, as well as evasion of customs duties amounting to over 15 million hryvnias, imposed a penalty on Pavlo Kostyshyn in the form of a fine of 255,000 UAH.
