Gray cof Kyiv region: how MP Bunin and the "land mafia" Hunko came under the spotlight of whistleblowers

Whistleblower stumbled upon an interesting and modest People’s Deputy of Ukraine — Serhiy Bunin, who owns about a dozen land plots in the Kyiv region, probably as a cover.

In fact, you won’t find anything interesting about this agrarian gray cardinal on Google. I’m sure you don’t even fully know who is in his circle of contacts and why NABU hasn’t gotten to him yet.

Could it be because Serhiy Bunin is a deputy from the Kyiv region and very cautious? Or because NABU has already exposed part of this agro-criminal group? I’m talking about some of Bunin’s business entourage right now…

We’re talking about two public figures: People’s Deputy Anatoliy Hunko and Oleksandr Polyarush, a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council (which, during the implementation of the scheme, was headed by Nataliya Hunko, the wife of the People’s Deputy).

A fellow People’s Deputy helped expose the head of the land mafia by providing testimony and detailing information to NABU, along with a lot of other interesting insights.

In the scheme involving NAAS lands, according to investigations, other deputies of the Kyiv Regional Council from the «Servant of the People» party are also involved, including Olena Shust and Viktor Sheremeta.

According to the investigation, Polyarush acted in collusion with Hunko, who was previously exposed for taking a bribe for «resolving» land issues. In the scheme involving NAAS land and grain worth 30 million hryvnias, Polyarush played a key role, according to NABU. His company, LLC «SGP Nastusya,» was used to «legalize» profits through fictitiously inflated harvest yields. Part of the income, according to the investigation, was divided among the conspirators. Phone conversations between the figures, in which they discussed money, became evidence in the case.
