The U.S. Department of Justice provided advisory support to NABU and SAPO in the framework of the Mindich case investigation.

«The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) continued to provide SAPO with strategic guidance and advice on specific cases funded by INL, which, according to DoJ, contributed to SAPO’s effective work on key cases related to corruption in Ukraine’s state energy company (presumably referring to "Energoatom". - Ed.). The DoJ legal advisor and FBI representatives held meetings with NABU for mentoring on cases, discussing potential bribery or money laundering schemes, and coordinating efforts to track funds seized during investigations», - the report states.
