A blow worth $100 million: BES raided the main logistics centres of the Yabko chain in Lviv region

«YABKO», it seems, is done…

Sources in law enforcement agencies report that a few days ago, detectives from the BES conducted a series of actions at storage, accumulation, and distribution points of smuggled equipment belonging to the «YABKO» network in the Lviv region.

I deliberately use the word «actions» because the scale of the operations and their implementation go beyond the term «searches».

According to sources, during these actions at «YABKO», smuggled equipment worth more than 100 million dollars was seized.

Additionally, over 100 individual entrepreneurs (IPs) were involved in the sale of illegal goods bypassing tax payments, which, based on the detectives’ analysis, allowed «YABKO» to launder over 40 million hryvnias in unpaid taxes in a short period.

I reiterate that these «actions» did not take place in the network’s stores where the final sale of goods occurs, but specifically in the main offices and logistics centers of «YABKO».

There are still a few unpleasant surprises awaiting «YABKO»’s counterparties and suppliers, but everything in due time.

And fictitious IPs should prepare for very large fines and problems.
