Ukraine received the first IMF tranche of 1.5 billion dollars under a new four-year program
Ukraine has received the first tranche from the IMF under a new four-year program.
As reported by Prime Minister Svyrydenko, 1.5 billion dollars have been credited to the account. The total amount of the program reaches 8.1 billion dollars.
Earlier, we mentioned that to receive these funds, the Ukrainian authorities agreed to rather controversial conditions.
In particular, the government committed to introducing taxes on OLX and parcels worth less than 150 euros, VAT for individual entrepreneurs, and effectively lifting the moratorium on increasing utility tariffs.
