In Kyiv region, the BES shut down a network of illegal gas stations in two districts
In the Kyiv region, law enforcement officers discovered three illegal gas stations. Searches were conducted by detectives of the Territorial Office of the BES. Seized fuel samples were sent for laboratory examination.
This was reported by Informator.
The gas stations were located in the Vyshhorod and Bucha districts. They sold fuel at retail but without licenses, cash registers, or documents confirming the origin and quality of the products. During the searches, law enforcement officers found over seven tons of diesel fuel, more than three tons of A-95 gasoline, and four tons of liquefied gas.
In addition, six modular gas stations, eight storage tanks, and cash obtained from sales were confiscated. The investigation is ongoing under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, pursuant to Part 1 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This article pertains to the illegal circulation of excisable goods.
As reported by the Bureau of Economic Security, the gas stations operated with gross violations of the law. The lack of quality certificates and documentation for the fuel posed real risks to drivers. Law enforcement officers are currently identifying all individuals involved in this scheme to hold them accountable.
