Situation at the front: 136 combat engagements recorded, the enemy continues to exert pressure on nine directions

The Defence Forces of Ukraine are successfully repelling the occupiers’ attempts to improve their positions and penetrate deeper into the country’s territory, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment across various sections of the front.

This was reported in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Shelling of Ukrainian territory

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 75 airstrikes, dropping 233 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, 7951 kamikaze drones were used, and 3413 shellings of populated areas and our troops’ positions were conducted, including 63 with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The aggressor conducted airstrikes, particularly in the areas of the settlements of Pidhavrylivka, Kolomiitsi, Oleksiivka in Dnipropetrovsk region; Vozdvyzhivka, Kopani, Barvinivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Varvarivka, Hirke, Hulyaipilske, Rozumivka, Veselyanka, Yurkivka, Novopavlivka in Zaporizhzhya region.

Combat operations

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, over the past day, the enemy carried out three airstrikes using nine aerial bombs and conducted 147 shellings, 12 of which were with MLRS.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.

In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out one attack in the area of the settlement of Podoly.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked six times, attempting to break through our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Cherneshchyna, Drobysheve, and Lyman.

In the Slovyansk direction, over the past day, our defenders repelled six attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Zakitne and in the direction of Yampol, Platonivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers did not conduct any offensive actions.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, as well as in the direction of Illinivka and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 21 enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Kotyne, Novomykolaivka, Udachne, Filiya, as well as in the direction of Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out five attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novohryhorivka and Krasnohirka.

In the Huliaipole direction, 28 enemy attacks took place in the areas of Hulyaipole, Zelene, Myrne, as well as in the direction of Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Staroukrainka, and Tsvitkove.

In the Orikhiv direction, three combat engagements with the enemy occurred near Stepnohirsk and Prymorske.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack in the area of the Antonivka Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.

Strikes on the enemy

Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy the enemy, effectively countering them across all sections of the front.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defence Forces struck six areas of enemy manpower concentration, two artillery systems, a UAV control point, a military-technical equipment depot, an MLRS, and an enemy command post.

In total, over the past day, the losses of the Russian occupiers amounted to 950 personnel. The enemy also lost seven tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 45 artillery systems, two MLRS, one air defense system, one helicopter, 1609 unmanned aerial vehicles, 208 units of automotive equipment, and one unit of special equipment.
