At the border with Hungary, "tobacco ladies" were caught with contraband hidden under their clothing

At the border with Hungary, "tobacco ladies" with an unusual wardrobe were exposed.

At the "Tisa" checkpoint, border guards of the Chop detachment stopped an original attempt at smuggling. A 34-year-old woman from Zakarpattia, together with a 16-year-old girl, tried to transport excise-free cigarettes to the EU directly on their bodies.

How it worked:

The women secured packs of cigarettes under their clothing using special straps.
«Special order» was discovered during a check using handheld metal detectors.

Result:

Law enforcement officers counted 157 packs of tobacco products. All cigarettes were confiscated by customs officers.
