In Kharkiv, a ballistic missile hit a multi-story building, destroying an entire entrance: 3 people have already been killed, and there are children among the injured

On the night before Saturday, March 7, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on Kharkiv. The enemy shelled the city with ballistic missiles and directed drones at it. One of the missiles hit a multi-story building in the Kyivskyi district. Three people were killed, and there are injured individuals.

This was announced by the mayor, Ihor Terekhov. According to him, significant destruction was caused, a fire broke out, and people remain trapped under the rubble.

As of 03:50, the Regional Military Administration reported that the number of injured had risen to 10 people. Among them are two boys aged 11 and 6, as well as a 17-year-old girl.

Up to 10 people, including a child, may still be under the rubble of the building. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. At 03:54, it was reported that one deceased person had been recovered from the rubble. It was a 65-year-old woman.

At 05:05, Terekhov reported that rescuers had found the body of another person.

As of 06:20, the death toll rose to three: the body of another victim was found under the rubble.

Four people were rescued, as reported by the State Emergency Service (SES).

Terekhov noted that the missile struck a five-story residential building, and the structure is almost completely destroyed.

The SES reported that as a result of the shelling, an entrance from the 1st to the 5th floors was destroyed, as well as the structures of apartments on the fourth and fifth floors of a neighboring building.
