Millions on chemical reagents: scheme to embezzle UAH 295 million through "shell companies" uncovered at "Ukrgazvydobuvannya"
In «Ukrgazvydobuvannya», a scheme of embezzlement exceeding 295 million UAH on purchases of chemical reagents at inflated prices has been uncovered.
The state-owned company procured chemical reagents through a network of shell companies that resold the products among themselves, inflating the price by 2–3 times. The total amount of potential losses — over 295 million UAH. The scheme involves LLC «Drilling Advisor», which purchased reagents at lower prices and resold them through controlled companies: «City Point», «Amilex Pro», «Amicor», «Metacorp», «Grandtex-Ya», «Delta Lex», «Grandbud-1», «NG Technology», «Olden».
For example, the reagent was purchased for 776 UAH/kg, and after several resales, its price rose to 1250 UAH/kg. Some companies had no warehouses or real operations, and the owner of «Metacorp» was deceased at the time of the transactions. Among the beneficiaries of «Drilling Advisor»: Oleksandr Verizhenko, Dmytro Komarov, Yuliya Melnyk-Dedovych, Dmytro Polishchuk, Oleksandr Novokhatko, Tymur Turhunov. Also involved is Ihor Mokhniy, who headed the «UGV-Service» branch. In total, «Drilling Advisor» won tenders from «Ukrgazvydobuvannya» structures for approximately 685 million UAH.
Separately mentioned is construction at the Zakhidno-Khrystyishchenske field: contracts exceeded 300 million UAH, with possible overpricing — over 15%. The scheme involves «Promin Bud Servis», «Khoz Khim Servis», «Premium Aktiv», and PE «IVC «Vector». Over 230 million UAH passed through «Khoz Khim Servis».
