In the Donetsk region, the enemy is losing an average of 428 soldiers per square kilometer, Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported at the 34th meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (in the "Ramstein" format).
"We are making every meter of Ukrainian land extremely expensive for the enemy. Russia is currently losing 254 soldiers per square kilometer. In the Donetsk region, the enemy is losing an average of 428 soldiers per square kilometer", – the minister stated.
According to Fedorov, Ukraine is increasing pressure on Russia’s economy, especially in the energy sector.
"Our actions disrupt logistics, increase costs, and reduce resources available to finance this war", – he said.
The previous meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (in the "Ramstein" format) took place in February in Brussels.
