The occupying authorities of Syevyerodonetsk have announced the collection of DNA to identify the dead in makeshift burials

In Syevyerodonetsk, on April 17, 2026, events are planned for collecting DNA samples from citizens whose relatives may have been buried in unauthorized places.

About this, citing the «Investigative Committee of the LPR», occupation media reported on April 14.

It is reported that the procedure is organized by an "interagency group" engaged in the search and identification of the deceased, as well as establishing the circumstances of their death.

«This concerns, in particular, possible burials in the area of the Lisova Dacha settlement and other spontaneous burial sites in the district territory», — the message states.
