Fears shelling: HACC upholds suspicion against Mindich and denies remote hearing

Higher Anti-Corruption Court rejected the motion to cancel the suspicion against Mindich, who failed to appear in court, citing "shelling in Ukraine".

The defence demanded to connect the suspect to the hearing online, justifying his absence  with "continuous shelling in Ukraine" and security threats.

The court rejected this request, emphasizing that Mindich has been declared wanted, and there are no circumstances that would prevent him from arriving at the court.

Additionally, it was not possible to properly verify his identity during the online connection.
