Tobacco farm under cover: an Odesa region resident set up a full cycle of cigarette production at home

In Odesa region, a man will be tried for illegal production of cigarettes and tobacco without proper licenses.

According to the investigation data, in 2023–2025, he organized the entire production cycle at home: grew tobacco, dried it, processed it, and manufactured cigarettes for sale to local residents.

During the search, detectives of the ESBU confiscated tobacco, ready-made cigarettes, and equipment. The products turned out to be excisable but without proper labeling.
The man is charged with illegal production, storage, and sale of tobacco products.
