The daughter of the mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov, Kateryna, is presumably the owner of expensive real estate on Lake Como in Italy.

Such information is contained in official real estate extracts in Italy.

"According to open data, the full name and date of birth match the data of the public figure’s daughter. At the same time, this is not confirmation that it is the same person," – notes the media outlet.

Three real estate properties and a land plot on Lake Como are registered to Kateryna Filatova.

"According to official extracts for Filatova Kateryna, three real estate properties and a land plot in the town of Cernobbio (Italy) on Lake Como are currently registered. According to the documents, the owner’s place of birth is listed as Ukraine, place of residence — Dnipro (Ukraine)," the message states.

The largest property (a three-story villa) has an area of 821 sq.m. It is also noted that there are 21.5 vani (conventional units of premises). However, this is a conditional calculation of premises according to the Italian system and is a technical indicator. Usually, this corresponds to 10–15 rooms, the message states.

The cost of the real estate complex, which includes the villa, auxiliary premises, and land plots, according to registry data from the 2018 purchase-sale agreement, was 8.43 million euros.

At the current exchange rate — this is over 430 million UAH. At the time of purchase, it was less in hryvnia equivalent. Additionally, according to the agreement, commissions to intermediaries amounted to about 500 thousand euros.

The villa territory, according to the agreement, features an outdoor swimming pool.

The second property in the complex is classified as C/6 (garage). The third is a non-residential premises (category C/3) with an area of about 96 sq.m.

At the time of purchase, Kateryna Filatova was 24 years old.

"It is known that real estate on Lake Como is one of the most expensive markets in Europe: individual lakeside villas can cost over 10 million euros depending on location and characteristics. This villa is located somewhat further from the shoreline," – notes "Public Control".

The publication also states that it is based on data from open registries and does not contain statements regarding the sources of funds, legality of the purchase, or violations of legislation.

The media outlet contacted the press service of Mayor Borys Filatov for comment. They called it Russian IPSO.

"This information campaign is synchronized with Russian collaborators and state traitors. If you’re interested in participating — go ahead," – the press service replied.
