Massive raid of "Shaheds" and imitators: Defence Forces shot down and suppressed 92 enemy drones

On the night before May 7, starting from 19:00, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 102 strike UAVs of the Shahed, "Gerbera", "Italmas" types and decoy drones of the “Parody” type from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and occupied Donetsk and Hvardiyske.

As of 8 o’clock, 92 drones were shot down and suppressed in the north and east of the country. This was reported by Air Force. 

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

“8 strike UAV hits were recorded at 6 locations, as well as falls of shot down (debris) at 4 locations”, – the message says.
