Ukraine and Norway are launching joint production of 155-mm long-range shells, - Zelenskyy

Ukraine and Norway have agreed on the joint production of 155-mm long-range artillery shells.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this in his evening address.

«Our warriors on the front, practically in all combat brigades, are talking about long-caliber artillery – long-range artillery shells. Kill zones are expanding, the use of all types of drones – is a priority. But the warriors themselves say: artillery is needed. And specifically long-range artillery», - noted the head of state.

According to Zelenskyy, «we now have a new and very strong agreement with Norway: we will start joint production of the long 155 – exactly the shells we need».

Zelenskyy thanked Norway for this necessary step.

«Ukraine needs support every day. Air defence – no matter what happens, we are preparing for defence. We provide our warriors with everything necessary», - added the President.
