The Fire Point case and the ‘golden’ drones: NABU is investigating allegations of misconduct by Ukrainian arms manufacturers

NABU is investigating corruption schemes in the energy sector and defense industry, including the supply of defective body armor vests and the production of drones.

«Since February 2025, we have been investigating the activities of several Ukrainian arms manufacturers, including drones», — stated NABU head Kryvonos at a briefing on the «Midas» case.

Most likely, in the part about unmanned aerial vehicles, the company Fire Point is meant, which is associated with Mindich.

At a recent meeting of the Verkhovna Rada’s investigative commission, this firm was repeatedly accused of multiple overpricing of long-range drones.

Fire Point signs large state contracts for the production of drones and missiles.
