Second Chornobaivka in Zaporizhzhya: Southern Defence Forces spokesperson explained why the occupiers have been "taking" Mala Tokmachka for 1.5 years
Russian troops have been trying to advance near Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhya direction for over a year and a half, but without any success.
About this on the air of “We-Ukraine” reported the spokesman of the Southern Defence Forces Vladyslav Voloshyn.
Despite this, Russian propaganda continues to claim alleged successes in advancing in this direction. According to Voloshyn, Mala Tokmachka has strategic importance due to its location between the occupied Polohy and Orikhiv.
"This is one of the largest villages in this area, where there are several small industrial facilities. Previously, there was a penitentiary service facility there. The occupiers seek to capture this settlement because it is a small transport hub: roads from neighboring villages lead here. They are trying to seize Mala Tokmachka and hold this territory. But, as they say in Ukrainian, — dzusky", — emphasized the military man.
Voloshyn informed that the enemy has repeatedly tried to break into there with assault groups, but Ukrainian defenders repelled them from there, destroyed and burned enemy equipment.
"None of this succeeds for the occupiers, and now the enemy is a few kilometers from Mala Tokmachka. Russian propaganda liked the name Mala Tokmachka, just as it previously liked Chornobaivka. Something similar is happening here: only there we destroyed equipment and weapons at parking lots, and here enemy attacks bring no success at all", — summed up the spokesman.
