Searches at NCREPU: The Bureau came to Ushchapovskyi and Formahey in the case of the "green tariff" for occupied stations

The Bureau conducted searches on two members of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities.

Searches were conducted at Kostyantyn Ushchapovskyi, who has been working at the NCREPU since December 2021 and also held the position of the agency’s head in 2022. Investigative actions were conducted at Oleksandr Formahey, who was a member of the commission in 2018–2019 and from 2021 to the present.

The investigation believes that they may have assisted and advised Rostyslav Shurma in a scheme to launder funds obtained from occupied power plants in Zaporizhzhya. In particular, this concerns consultations on how to continue receiving payments under the «green» tariff for these stations.
