Sister still being searched for: Russia killed 12-year-old daughter of Hero who died on the front during Kyiv shelling
During the strike by Russian troops on an apartment building in the Darnytskyi district, 12-year-old Lyubava Yakovlyeva was killed. Rescuers are still searching for her older sister under the rubble.
The girls’ father died in battle with the occupiers in 2023. A photo of the child killed by the Russians was posted on the Facebook page "Killed by Russia".
Russians killed the daughter of a fallen Hero with a missile strike
A missile strike on an apartment building in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv on May 14 killed at least 24 people, according to SES data as of 06:00 on May 15.

Among the dead, whose bodies rescuers retrieved from under the rubble of the destroyed entrance, were three children.
SES employees first found the body of a 12-year-old girl.
"Russian terrorists killed the daughter of a fallen serviceman. Lyubava Yakovlyeva, 12 years old, a 6th-grade student at Lyceum No. 323. The girl lived in the building that Russia struck with a missile yesterday. Lyubava’s older sister is still being searched for under the rubble," they said on "Killed by Russia," posting a photo of the deceased child.

They added that three years ago, during a combat mission, the girls’ father, Ukrainian warrior Yevhen Yakovlyev with the callsign "Ryzhyi," was killed.

"Strength to mom... Bright memory to the little angel," added "Killed by Russia".
