"Kickback" of 105 thousand: former official Alekseychuk and entrepreneur Fus received suspended sentences for a bribe in Chornomorsk

Former head of the Chornomorsk education department Liliya Alekseychuk and private enterprise director Dmytro Fus received sentences in a bribery case.

According to the case materials, the official took a “kickback” of UAH 105.6 thousand from the director of LLC “Climate Control Service.” This amount equaled 10% of the cost of the work performed. Law enforcement officers detained her on May 31, 2023, directly during the transfer of the bribe.

The court approved plea agreements between the prosecutor and the defendants. Each of them was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment, but the actual punishment was replaced with a probation period of 2 years.

Liliya Alekseychuk is a deputy of the Odesa District Council from the party “For the Future.”
