14 million from ex-SSU officer Marfin convicted of bribery: who gave the money for Yermak’s bail

 One of Yermak’s guarantors was a former SSU employee convicted of receiving a bribe.

AT «De Lege Lata», which posted UAH 14 million in bail, belongs to Vitaliy Marfin. According to «Schemes», he is a former employee of the Main Department for Counterintelligence Protection of the Economy of the SSU in Kyiv and the husband of judge Nataliya Marfina of the Dnipro District Court. During the Revolution of Dignity, in the appellate instance, she upheld the decision to deprive one of the «Automaidan» activists of the right to drive a car.

In 2011, Marfin himself was detained on suspicion of receiving a bribe in the amount of USD 180,000. He was later found guilty and sentenced to a fine of UAH 25,000.

Other guarantors

«Scientific Research Forensic Expert Institution» — a private company registered in Kyiv in 2017. Until September 2025, the organization participated in tenders of state institutions and municipal enterprises for conducting forensic examinations and studies.

AT «A.DVA.KA.T». The head of the association is Yaroslav Kuts. In 2019–2020, he ran as a candidate from the «European Solidarity» party for the Verkhovna Rada and the Irpin City Council (as a self-nominee). In 2016, he worked as an expert on the criminal talk show «Viewer as a Witness» on the «Ukraine» TV channel.

«Specialized Management Stroyelektromontazh». The company from Dnipro was founded in 2000; its main activity is the construction of residential and non-residential buildings. In 2017, it was involved in a criminal proceeding of the National Police regarding the probable legalization of proceeds obtained through criminal means and tax evasion.

«SV-GROUP», which is engaged in car trading. «Schemes» was unable to contact the company’s sole manager and owner, Valeria Prodan — she did not respond to calls or messages.

LLC «Arena Marin» — a logistics company from Odesa with an authorized capital of UAH 40,000. The owner is 76-year-old Oleksandr Rusnyak.
