The enemy intensified pressure on the Oleksandrivka direction: Mashovets stated that the Russian Federation is advancing in Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian troops have resumed their offensive and advance on the Oleksandrivka direction in Dnipropetrovsk region — where Ukrainian forces had previously conducted counteroffensive operations.
This was reported by Ukrainian military expert Kostyantyn Mashovets.
According to his information, the Russian army achieved its most noticeable successes on the Novohryhorivka — Verbove section. Over the past two weeks, Russian units advanced here by 3–3.5 km and managed to link up with previously infiltrated small groups south of Verbove.
Another active area remains the western bank of the Yanchur River. On the Solodke — Nove Zaporizhzhya direction, Russian forces approached Nove Zaporizhzhya by about 2 km, covering roughly 3 km in a week and a half. According to Mashovets, the goal of the Russian units is to push Ukrainian forces further away from Uspenivka and attempt to reach Ukrainian logistical routes in the Dobropillia area.
On the Zlahoda — Pryvillya direction, Russian assault groups advanced approximately 1.5 km. In the area of Myrnyi, according to the expert, Russian units reached the eastern outskirts of Oleksandrohrad.
Fighting also continues on the Ternove — Novohryhorivka section. On the Berezove — Stepove direction, Russian forces advanced about 1.8 km over two weeks but have so far failed to gain a foothold directly in Stepove.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces maintain control over Ternove, the area south of Voronoho, as well as positions near Osavulskyi and Kalynivskyi, despite pressure and attempts by Russian groups to penetrate from the flanks.
Mashovets considers two sectors the most dangerous for Ukrainian forces — from Novohryhorivka to Berezove and the area west of the Yanchur River. It is there, in his view, that the Russian command may attempt to increase pressure by committing additional reserves.
