Elite cars, trucks and a million-dollar loan: how the family of Ternopil region’s chief investigator Andriy Tkachyk lives

Police officer’s wife took out an 8 million loan.

First Deputy Chief — Head of the Investigative Department of the Ternopil Region Police Andriy Tkachyk declared significant real estate and a large vehicle fleet registered in his wife’s name. Among other assets are two premium cars in use, as well as income from the sale of property and his wife’s business activities.

Andriy Tkachyk personally owns a house with an area of 39.5 m² in the village of Balazher, Berehove community (acquired in December 2022 for UAH 138,500).

Together with his wife Svitlana Tkachyk (50 % each), he owns a residential house with an area of 35.6 m² in the same village of Balazher (acquired on 21 October 2022 for UAH 88,800) and a 2,500 m² plot of land next to it. He also owns 54 % of a residential house with an area of 129.9 m² in Lviv (2021, co-owner — Lyudmyla Honcharuk).

His wife Svitlana Tkachyk owns:
- a 46.5 m² apartment in Lviv (2016, value at the time of purchase — UAH 344,000);
- a 24.5 m² garage in the village of Zubra, Solonky community, Lviv region (2007).

The couple jointly owns a 50.8 m² apartment in Lviv (1998, co-owner — Emiliya Dzikovska).

The family uses a 77.5 m² apartment in the village of Zubra (2007, owner — wife) and an apartment in Ternopil (rented since 2023, owner — Ivanna Halabytska).

Daughter Olha Tkachyk is registered at the 50.8 m² apartment in Lviv as her place of residence.

The transport section lists seven vehicles, most registered in the wife’s name:
- CHEREAU CD-382G trailer (2000), 2016 — UAH 30,000;
- DAF FT XF 105.460 truck (2010), 2017 — UAH 226,000;
- SCHMITZ SKO 24 trailer (2004), 2017 — UAH 126,000;
- DAF XF 105.460 truck (2013), 2019 — UAH 290,000.

Andriy Tkachyk has the right to use two of his wife’s premium cars:
- Mercedes-Benz GLS 400 (2022), received in 2023 valued at UAH 4.38 million;
- BMW X4 xDrive 30d (2023), purchased in 2025 for UAH 1.71 million.

On 8 February 2025, the termination of ownership of a vehicle (purchase and sale) was declared.

In 2025, the family’s income included:
- Andriy Tkachyk: salary — UAH 945,000, income from the sale of movable property — UAH 1.14 million (from Anastasiya Koloda);
- Svitlana Tkachyk: income from entrepreneurial activity — UAH 848,600, salary from Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital — UAH 127,000, from Lviv Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission — UAH 2,600 + UAH 20,000 (other income), from Lviv National Medical University — UAH 29,000.

Cash assets:
- Tkachyk: cash USD 35,200, funds in PrivatBank account — UAH 103,000;
- wife: cash USD 133,700, funds in PrivatBank accounts — UAH 301,000, Raiffeisen Bank — UAH 83,000.

Wife Svitlana Tkachyk has a loan from JSC “State Savings Bank of Ukraine” taken in 2023 (initial obligation — UAH 8 million, secured by a Mercedes-Benz GLS 400).
