In Kyiv, a man will be tried for “employment” in a law enforcement agency for $25,000.

The Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office has referred to court the case of a 41-year-old Kyiv resident who, according to investigators, promised to secure a job in a law enforcement agency in exchange for money.

He valued his services at $25,000: part of the sum was to be paid before the background check, and the rest after the employment was arranged.

After receiving the first payment, he was detained and notified of suspicion of abuse of influence.
