Kyiv experienced one of the most horrific nights in recent times. Fire, explosions, destroyed buildings, and people climbing out from under the rubble in the middle of the night.
The Russian attack struck residential districts of the capital.
- In Darnytskyi district, the roof of a two-story dormitory caught fire — rescuers led people through thick smoke and flames.
- In Shevchenkivskyi district, the entrance of a five-story building was destroyed — fire engulfed the building from the first to the fifth floor.
- Hits on a business center, a market, and a residential building were recorded. One person was killed.
- In Dniprovskyi district, a private house and a garage cooperative were on fire.
- In Desnyanskyi district, a shopping center and a supermarket were damaged, and garages caught fire.
- In Svyatoshynskyi district, a nine-story residential building was damaged.
- In Solomianskyi district, fire engulfed the upper floors of an apartment building.
- On Obolon, a residential building, a construction hypermarket, and a sixteen-story building were burning.
- In Pecherskyi district, a new building caught fire.
