Extortion and conspiracy charges: former SAPO prosecutor Bronevytskyi stated NABU detective Magamedrasulov’s involvement in corruption schemes

Former SAPO prosecutor Stanislav Bronevytskyi, citing materials from court hearings, stated that NABU detective Ruslan Magamedrasulov and former MP Fedir Khrystenko were involved in extorting funds and illegally releasing corrupt officials from criminal liability.

This concerns, in particular, Kyiv City Council deputy Volodymyr Slonchak, whose voice was heard on NABU audio recordings in the “Chyste Misto” case — there, a bribe of UAH 45 million was discussed for registering land plots in the capital.

According to Bronevytskyi, back in 2023 the NACP, following monitoring of Slonchak’s lifestyle, found signs of a corruption offense worth about UAH 8.5 million. Materials on the origin of these funds, which the deputy allegedly received as a gift from his mother, were handed over to NABU, although her official income did not allow her to accumulate such an amount.

As the former prosecutor claims, Khrystenko took on helping Slonchak and contacted his acquaintance, NABU detective Magamedrasulov.

In March 2025, according to Bronevytskyi, Magamedrasulov and Khrystenko corresponded via the Threema messenger about fixing Slonchak’s involvement in the “Chyste Misto” case. Already in June, Khrystenko reported receiving an “advance on Slon” — money so that Slonchak would not be held liable and would not be served with a notice of suspicion.

“A few days later, Magamedrasulov informed Khrystenko that Slonchak had been summoned for interrogation by NABU detective Kryvko, whom, according to court materials, he had recruited for unlawful activity,” Bronevytskyi writes.

In addition, the former prosecutor claims, Magamedrasulov helped reduce the liability of Poltava region Council deputy Serhiy Bielashov, whom NABU and SAPO had previously charged with embezzling Ukrzaliznytsia funds. On May 30, 2025, Khrystenko forwarded case materials against Bielashov to Magamedrasulov, and the next day reminded him of a meeting with the head of the SAP department regarding mitigation of liability.

Bronevytskyi also stated that Magamedrasulov may have participated in a scheme to remove companies from the list of “high-risk” taxpayers. According to the investigation, in March 2025, exclusion of several enterprises from the State Tax Service list was discussed in Threema, and to resolve the issue Magamedrasulov brought in the former acting head of the SFS and an adviser to the head of the Tax Service.

In May 2025, according to Bronevytskyi, Magamedrasulov was given a list of companies and offered UAH 900,000 in unlawful benefit — about 3% of the UAH 30 million that had been blocked. In response, he stated that the “standard” cost of such services was 10%.
