AFU ramp up strikes on Russian logistics and advance forward — assault regiment commander
The Ukrainian Defence Forces have created a group of units that not only actively defend but also attempt to advance forward. Joint efforts are already yielding positive results.
Commander of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsyubaylo Dmytro Filatov, «Perun», noted that several units are actively engaged in producing relatively inexpensive front-strike type drones. Such devices are capable of striking enemy logistics at a distance of 150–200 kilometers.
What is known about the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the front?
According to the serviceman, the units have established their own cyber center that supplies verified data on the movements of enemy units. After that, the defenders strike at equipment delivering ammunition, personnel, and other enemy resources.
We have accurate information about the timing and routes of movement, as well as the enemy’s fuel supply. For example, today a strike was carried out on the crossing in Chonhar to cut off the supply of fuel and lubricants to the 37th Motor Rifle Brigade. The bridge is currently non-operational, — the serviceman said.
In addition, the defenders are working on advancing on the front line. There are successes, but they are not in a hurry to publicize them.
We are constantly trying to shift the front line forward. These advances are not publicized so that the enemy does not receive unnecessary information. Enemy commanders hide the loss of positions to avoid being removed from their posts, — noted «Perun».
