In Kharkiv region, a police explosives technician was killed as a result of a drone strike
In Kharkiv region, a police explosives technician was killed as a result of a Russian drone strike; there are wounded.
This is reported by the National Police.
According to preliminary data, on June 7, near the village of Chystovodivka in Izium district, police officers responded to a call to neutralize a detected explosive object — an unidentified type of drone that had not detonated.
During the work of the explosives technicians at the scene, an enemy UAV struck the police officers’ service vehicle.
The strike killed a police explosives technician on the spot. Three other officers from the unit and one civilian were wounded. An investigative-operational team, district police leadership, and other specialized services immediately arrived at the scene.
All victims are receiving medical assistance.
Investigators are documenting the consequences of another war crime committed by Russian servicemen.
Information on this incident has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 2, Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
