Scandal in Zakarpattia: wife reports detention and beating of sick husband at TRC

Wife of man with mental disorder accuses TRC of detaining the patient and causing him suffering.

New details have emerged in the case of Vadym, a resident of Zakarpattia.

According to the man and his family, during his stay at the Volovets TRC he felt unwell, after which his wife called an ambulance. Vadym claims that physical force was then used against him.

According to him, he sustained bodily injuries, including hematomas and a rib injury.
