The MIA of Ukraine has refuted fakes about US funding of "biolaboratories" for the creation of weapons

Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied accusations that the US was funding biological laboratories on the country’s territory.

The ministry stated that Ukraine has never conducted any work related to the development, production, or stockpiling of biological weapons.

It also emphasized that cooperation with the United States in the field of biosafety was aimed exclusively at improving the healthcare system, laboratory diagnostics, disease monitoring, and biosecurity.

It is underscored that the laboratories that received international support are diagnostic and research institutions in the fields of public health and veterinary medicine.
