Zelenskyy on G7, Euro-Atlantic, and NATO summits: We expect substantive decisions on air defence and long-range capabilities

During future meetings with partners at the summits of the Group of Seven (G7) in France, the European Council, and NATO in Ankara, Ukraine expects concrete decisions.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in his evening address link.

«The fate of Europe is being decided right here — in Ukraine, in this war, as well as in how it will end and whether Russia will have the strength and desire after it to encroach on the lives of Ukraine, other neighbors, and all of Europe», — the head of state emphasized.

According to Zelenskyy, «it is we who must end this war with dignity and with guaranteed security».

«We will discuss this with partners at the G7 summit in France, and later — at the European Council summit and the NATO summit in Ankara. Negotiations and meetings in Europe in the coming weeks must not be empty. We are filling them with substance and expect a meaningful response from our partners: political progress in cooperation, including in the Drone Deals format, new sanctions against Russia, as well as new support for Ukraine, primarily in the field of air defence and long-range capabilities», — the president emphasized.
