Russian troops massively shelled Sumy region: four wounded and large-scale destruction
Russian troops launched massive strikes on the border areas of Sumy region. It is known that four civilians were injured and large-scale destruction of infrastructure and residential buildings was recorded. According to law enforcement, the largest number of victims was recorded in the Bilopillia community following an attack by an enemy drone.

In Trostianets, Sumy region, gas stations were destroyed by nighttime strikes, Mayor Bova reports.
Residential buildings, private cars, outbuildings, and infrastructure facilities in several districts of the region came under fire this time.
In the Bilopillia community, an enemy drone attacked civilians, injuring a 62-year-old woman and two men aged 47 and 59. The explosion also damaged vehicles, houses, and infrastructure facilities.
Another man was injured in the Seredyna-Buda community. A 70-year-old pensioner who was wounded during a Russian drone attack in the night of June 15 sought medical help. Police recorded that civilian infrastructure, houses, and outbuildings were also damaged in this community.
In other border communities of Sumy region, the shelling destroyed civilian private houses. In particular, Russian strikes completely destroyed private households in the Novoslobidska and Yunakivska communities. Damage to infrastructure, a residential building, and one car was also recorded in the Hlukhiv community. Infrastructure facilities in the Shostka community also came under Russian attack. Specialized services continue to work at the impact sites to clear the aftermath and finalize damage assessments.
