SAPO demands to confiscate the house and land of former Deputy Energy Minister Kheilo to the state’s revenue

«Business partner» of oligarch Kropachov — former Deputy Minister of Energy Kheilo — found himself in a new difficult situation.

The SAPO prosecutor filed a lawsuit seeking to declare unjustified the assets acquired in 2021–2023 by then-Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine O. Kheilo.

The assets in question are a residential house and a 0.0345-hectare plot of land in the Kyiv region, with a total value of 5 million hryvnias.

The lawsuit notes that although ownership was registered in the names of third parties, the property was acquired in the interests of the official and at his direction. Kheilo retains the ability to directly or indirectly control these assets.

An analysis of the official’s and his wife’s income found no legal sources for the purchase of these properties.

The SAPO prosecutor therefore asks the court to declare the assets unjustified and to recover them for the state.

For reference, the father-in-law of daughter Olha — Andriy Tereshchuk — worked in law enforcement agencies for many years.
