"It’ll be f*cked": Fedorov announces logistical lockdown and isolation of Crimea
Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov predicts that temporarily occupied Crimea will soon find itself in complete isolation as a result of systematic strikes by Ukrainian drones.
Fedorov made this statement in an interview with the YouTube channel PRESSING.
«Crimea is currently being isolated by drones. In the near future, the peninsula is likely to effectively turn into an island. This could have extremely unexpected consequences for the Russians. I can’t say anything more», he noted.
Fedorov also reported that during the first four months of 2026, the Ministry of Defence contracted 300% more Middle Strike drones than in the entire year of 2025. Ukraine regularly uses these drones to strike targets in the Azov region.
«What we did earlier is now starting to produce results… We have declared a logistical lockdown. This means additional direct funding for units that employ Middle Strike drones. By purchasing hundreds of thousands of such drones, we are simultaneously allocating funds to units that know how to use and procure them quickly», the minister explained.
«For the Russians, this marks the beginning of hell that will be very difficult for them to cope with. We have a window of opportunity: logistics are being cut off, Crimea is being isolated, and this immediately affects the front line in the east. There is a direct link between strikes on enemy logistics and a reduction in assault operations on the front line», Fedorov summarized.
