The head of the appellate court Kuzmyshyn declared a house worth 6.6 million hryvnias and millions in cash

The Head of the Seventh Administrative Court of Appeal Vitaliy Kuzmyshyn declared a house worth over UAH 6.6 million, an apartment, and over UAH 2.4 million in cash.

The information was published in his annual declaration.

The son of the head of the 7th Administrative Court of Appeal Kuzmyshyn was involved in a fatal car accident, but never received suspicion.

The declaration contains information about three real estate objects acquired during 2024:

A house with an area of 258 m² in the village of Bokhonyky, Vinnytsia district, Vinnytsia region (acquired on June 10, 2024).

The value according to the latest monetary valuation is UAH 6.64 million. The object is in joint partial ownership (50% — declarant, 50% — mother).

A land plot with an area of 1607 m² at the same address (acquired on June 10, 2024). The value according to the latest monetary valuation is UAH 52 thousand.

Joint partial ownership (50/50).

An apartment with an area of 77.2 m² in Vinnytsia (acquired on May 27, 2024). Value on the date of acquiring the right — UAH 2.12 million. Owner — wife Oksana Kuzmyshyna.

The man uses a Mercedes-Benz S 350D car (2019), purchased on January 5, 2021 for UAH 1.5 million.

Kuzmyshyn declares UAH 750 thousand in cash, and his wife Oksana — UAH 1.7 million. In addition, funds are declared in accounts at PrivatBank, Oschadbank, and other banks.

Salary (monetary allowance) at the Seventh Administrative Court of Appeal — UAH 2.97 million.
– Insurance payments — UAH 109 thousand.
– Wife’s income from work at the Territorial Administration of the State Judicial Administration in Vinnytsia Region — UAH 1.23 million.
– Wife’s pension — UAH 577 thousand.
– Wife’s income from the sale of movable property — UAH 860 thousand.

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention sees grounds for conducting a full verification of the appellate court head’s declaration due to the following circumstances:

1. Significant assets acquired in 2024 — a house worth over UAH 6.6 million and an apartment over UAH 2.1 million. The NACP should check the sources of funds for the purchase of these objects and the compliance of the declared value with market prices.

2. Large amounts of cash — over UAH 2.45 million in cash held by the declarant and his wife. Such an amount requires an explanation of the sources of origin and compliance with declared income.

3. Ratio of income and assets — the official income of the court head for 2024 amounted to almost UAH 3 million. The NACP should determine whether the declared income is sufficient to acquire property of such value.
