Situation at the front: Russia carried out massive shelling and over 200 assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Since the beginning of the day on June 17, 207 combat engagements have taken place on the front.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The occupiers carried out 54 airstrikes, dropping 173 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 6,035 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,088 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops.

On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted 60 shellings, including three with multiple launch rocket systems.

On the South Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy launched seven assaults on the positions of our units in the areas of Lyman, Vovchansk, and toward Pokalyane and Izybitske.

On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces five times today toward Novoplatonivka and Kurylivka.

On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Derylove, Zarichne, Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, and toward Drobysheve, Ozerne, Shyikivka, Lyman, and Dibrova. On the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attempts to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kryva Luka, and in the area of Zakitne.

On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.

The Defence Forces repelled 15 enemy assaults on the Kostiantynivka direction near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, and toward Novopavlivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 24 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Rodynske, and toward Bilytske, Dorozhne, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, Muravka, Vilne, and Novopavlivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 44 occupiers were eliminated and another 15 wounded on this direction today; three ammunition depots, one UAV control point, seven vehicles, and three pieces of special equipment of the enemy were destroyed. One UAV control point, six vehicles, two pieces of special equipment, four artillery systems, and 34 personnel shelters were damaged. 310 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

On the Oleksandrivka direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks toward Oleksandrohrad and Verbove.

On the Huliaipole direction, 23 enemy attacks took place in the areas of Dobropillia, Pryluke, Zlahoda, and toward Huliaipilske, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

On the Orikhiv direction, our defenders halted three enemy attempts to advance in the area of Mala Tokmachka.

On the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.

No significant changes in the situation were recorded in other directions.
