Irpin deputy and developer Ihor Overko at one time set a record among Ukrainian declarations, indicating ownership of 586 apartments. However, by the end of the year, 400 of them had already been sold.

From the sale of real estate, the deputy declared more than 50 million hryvnias in income. At the same time, everyone noticed that if this amount is divided by the number of apartments sold, the average cost of one looks surprisingly modest for real estate near Kyiv.

In addition to hundreds of apartments, the declaration includes residential buildings, 18 land plots, several cars, and millions in savings. At the same time, the developer’s official salary for the year was just over 20 thousand hryvnias.

Overko himself stated that all apartments were declared honestly, and taxes were paid in accordance with the law. However, questions regarding the real value of the sold real estate and possible tax minimization remained with the journalists.
