In Russia, Ihor Kolomoiskyi, who is being held in a Ukrainian pre-trial detention center, was sentenced in absentia to 12 years of imprisonment.

The Russian authorities accuse the Ukrainian businessman of stealing oil and petroleum products from «Tatneft» worth 10 billion rubles. The case was opened in 2021; it is linked to a long-standing conflict between «Tatneft» and Kolomoisky’s structures over control of the Kremenchug Oil Refinery.
