NABU and SAPO transferred to court the case of a judge and a lawyer who demanded 10 thousand dollars for the “necessary” decision

NABU and SAPO sent an indictment to court regarding two persons who incited the giving of a bribe for a "necessary" court decision

According to the investigation, a judge and a lawyer offered the defendant in a civil case assistance with a ruling in his favor in one of the district courts of Odesa. They asked for $10 thousand for this.

The individuals were caught red-handed after the transfer of the second part of the funds.

In May 2026, they were notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 15, Part 4 of Art. 27, Part 3 of Art. 369 and Part 4 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The exposure was carried out jointly with the SSU Office in Odesa Region.
