Death of a man in the Uzhhorod TRC: surveillance camera video appears

Video of the final moments before the death of a 36-year-old man in the Uzhhorod TRC building has been published.

A surveillance camera video has appeared online, capturing the final seconds before the tragedy in the premises occupied by the Uzhhorod Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

The footage shows the man calmly approaching a window on the third floor. The moment of the fall itself was not captured on the recording.

The deceased was a 36-year-old resident of the village of Stuzhytsia, Uzhhorod district. According to preliminary data, the man jumped from a window of the building on July 8 around 13:30. Despite the doctors’ efforts, he died in the hospital around 4:00 a.m. on July 9.

An official investigation has been launched following the incident. The circumstances of the tragedy are being clarified.
