The million-dollar bribe case: who posted bail for Tyshchenko

Bail in the amount of 10 million UAH has been posted for People’s Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, who is suspected of extorting a bribe for “resolving issues” with call centers.

According to “Schemes,” 650 thousand UAH was paid personally by Tyshchenko, 5 million UAH by a private company from Dnipro, and another 4.35 million UAH by a private individual. The MP denies the charges in the case in which, according to NABU, he demanded more than $1 million in bribes.
