In Ukroboronprom, heads of two enterprises were dismissed due to ammunition storage violations

JSC "Ukrainian Defence Industry" (UOP) announced the dismissal of the heads of two state enterprises that violated the requirements of the legislation and the rules for the safe storage of ammunition by placing weapons depots in Vyshneve.

This is stated in the message of "Ukroboronprom".

"Based on the results of the preliminary investigation, the heads of two state enterprises, for whom violations of the requirements of the legislation and the rules for the safe storage of ammunition were established, have been dismissed from their positions. Other officials whose actions or inaction could have led to serious consequences have also been dismissed," the message says.

The statement emphasizes that all those responsible, in addition to dismissal, will also bear criminal liability in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

"JSC UOP fully cooperates with the Security Service of Ukraine and other pre-trial investigation bodies, providing all necessary information and documents. At the same time, a comprehensive check of compliance with the requirements for storage and safety when working with means of destruction is ongoing at all enterprises of the Company," added in "Ukroboronprom".
