Today, July 17, a decision is expected in the afternoon regarding the appointment of Yevheniy Khmara as acting Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

This was reported by Dmytro Lytvyn, Adviser to the President of Ukraine on Communications.

“Regarding Khmara: there will be decisions on this in the afternoon... Because the main thing that now determines the course of events is long-range capability and mid-strikes; Khmara is very good at this,” Lytvyn noted.

He also reported on upcoming personnel changes among the deputy ministers of foreign affairs.

“Sybiha has already met with the president today; there will be further changes among the MFA deputies, and they discussed further work,” the adviser said.
